It Is. Or, It Isn’t.

Shake it Up

4 Nov

It is either meant to be, or it is not.

If it’s intended to be, nothing can stop it. It is isn’t, nothing can start it.

Whew! Takes a load off, right?

Or, maybe not.

Perhaps you’re wondering what happened to the potential for strong-arming your outcomes?

I mean, let’s face it. You’ve put together a fine “vision board”. Gathered up your dreams, pinpointed images for all the cool stuff you want to manifest.

You’ve downloaded 100 gigs of fervency and firepower to goose your game into high gear, and now what? Thud – that’s what. Nothing. Dead in the water.

So you say, hey! What gives? The Law of Attraction has let me down. Failed its promise to kick in when it was ‘sposed to.

You scratch your head, straighten your shirt and scrutinize what you’ve done wrong. And, why such a sure bet has left you in the lurch.

Could it be that you don’t deserve to receive what you want in life? Or, perhaps that you just need to work harder and smarter?

Would you believe … None of the Above?

And, the sooner you untie the knot from that tyranny-loop of self-recrimination, the easier life rolls along. No special skill required.

You have always done everything perfectly – and, right on time. The Universe-God-Source does not play dice.

As the Rolling Stones belted out back in the day, ♪ You can’t always get what you want … You get what you need  ♪

So perhaps we might redirect our focus.

For starters, by considering how it feels when we oppose Life. Refusing, meal after meal, the plate set before us. Lace tablecloth, fine china and all.

You bellyache about your acid indigestion. Safe to say, you’re feeling a tad undernourished right about now.

But nobody’s sitting down to break bread.

Seriously satisfying and delicious food will feed not only your cravings, but also your soul.

Here’s a note of reassurance. Making peace with the inefficacy of your Law of Attraction campaign does not condemn you to a life without goodies.

So for now, we can lay that burden down. Softening the muscle of our expectations – tenderly massaging into the deep tissue of our limiting beliefs.

Reminding ourselves that Life is always serving us. No exceptions.

And It’s totally okay not to fancy what’s on the menu.

Obligatory displays of bravado, or pasted-on smiley faces are no longer necessary – deleted, forever, from your job description as a spiritual being.

Over time, the direction Life is conveying us becomes unmistakable. We settle down, confident that we might truly relax our double-duty to “make things happen”.  Or, to uncover life’s spoiler alerts prematurely.

So how do we spell relief?

Sounds about right … 🙂

We become the receivers of light and a love and a sustenance that has nothing to do with what you have earned through the will of your effort.
