Call Me By Name

Nature is Us

10 Feb

My name was not born of blood.

I am the wind
    just as you are.

My temper howls a mighty gale
and sings silently as summer’s breath.

Do not mistake my raindrops for anguish —
     I know no desperation.
Despair cannot claim me.
No one contains me.

I am joy.
I am love.

My name
     is your name.
