I stand up for Love when
She enters a room,
I rise from my chair
And bow down,
Reaching for her hand, together we sit as kindreds,
Sharing the dream of Oneness called time and space.
United in common resolve,
Detached from ungainly impetus,
The golden thread of almighty perfection, stitching our hearts together forever.
You cannot stray from this path.
Did you carve it in the first place?
Humility, my brother.
Our lives are not our own.
We wake to the mystery of each day,
Imagining that we know,
Only to be tossed and tumbled into the currents of roiling tides.
Courage, my sister.
Forbearance, my brother.
Gracious mind, spacious heart,
Love in the room.
The Silence we reach for
When there is no way out.
Love, the only choice when all choice has been lost.
